PERPETUAL Help remained spotless in the 98th NCAA women’s beach volleyball tournament after its morning match yesterday at the Subic Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales.
The Lady Altas rose to 4-0 after sweeping Lyceum 21-13, 21-17.
On opening day last Tuesday, Perpetuals’ Mary Ann Dapol and Janine Padua blanked College of Saint Benilde 21-12, 21-14 and then cruised to a 21-15, 21-16 victory over Letran.
The Lady Altas notched their third triumph later that day, whipping Jose Rizal University 21-8, 21-12.
Emilio Aguinaldo College beat the Lady Blazers 21-16, 18-21, 15-7 and climbed to 3-0.
In the men’s side, Perpetual continued its dominance, extending its winning streak to four.
Following a 3-0 start by Louie Ramirez and Jefferson Marapoc last Tuesday, the Altas ripped Lyceum 21-8, 21-15.
The Generals blanked the Blazers 21-18, 21-12.
EAC kept its clean slate at 3-0, while the Blazers slid to 2-1 after their morning tiff.
The eliminations in both the women’s and men’s divisions will last until tomorrow. The semifinals and title matches will be played on Saturday at the same venue.
