Pagdanganan out to end long slump

TOKYO Olympic Games veteran Bianca Pagdanganan tries to break out of a long slump in the US LPGA Tour when sees action in the 50th Cambia Portand Classic at the Oregon Golf Club in West Linn, Oregon starting today.

Pagdanganan has been struggling in her sophomore season in the US ladies tour, missing the cut in four of her nine last tournaments, and is hoping she performs better at the par-72, 6,478-yard course in the $1.4 million tournament offering a top purse of $200,000 (around P9.9 million).

It will be the first tournament for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games double gold medalist since she finished tied for 43rd in the Tokyo Olympic women’s golf tournament at the Kasumigaseki Country Club in Saitama, Japan.
