About 16,000 runners have already signed up for the race, with the Manila leg happening at SM Mall of Asia Complex, the Cebu leg at City di Mare, and the Davao leg at Azuela Cove.

But more runners are expected to join, with a target of 17,000 set for all three races which has 5K, 10K, and 21K categories, offering participants a chance to turn their love for the planet into impactful action.

“We all share the purpose of fostering a sustainable lifestyle and promoting environmentally conscious choices,” said Nic Rodriguez, Galaxy Ecosystem product marketing manager.

As part of this event, Samsung is excited to showcase its latest wearable technology, designed to enhance running experiences and support a healthier, more active lifestyle. From the Galaxy Fit3 to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung offers a range of innovative products that perfectly blend style, functionality, and performance.

Earth Day Run 2025 is also in partnership with Tzu Chi Philippines, a global humanitarian organization championing environmental protection through recycling and upcycling, underscoring the importance of reducing carbon footprints and conserving resources, as its advocacy partner.

“This isn’t just any run. It increases the awareness of each person in making a difference for our planet,” said Jane Sy, Tzu Chi Foundation commissioner.
