THE Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE) is gearing for its biggest year yet with this fourth season shaping up to be its best.
“We always want to do better than the past season, and that’s one of the focuses for the CCE this year, to really expand the esports wave in the academe and propagate it nationwide,” said CCE president Stanley Lao.
CCE is already expanding its reach for Season 4, opening to more teams this time out while also enjoying support from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), presenter Converge ICT, and sponsors Bescost Printing and Hungry Chiefs Pastil.
Registration has already started last April 30 and will last until May 23.
More colleges also are expected to participate in the second season of the Philippine Collegiate Championship (PCC), with the registration already opening last May 24 and will last until June 16.
Aside from the usual tournaments, the CCE is also planning to make more impact with the continuation of its roadshow series, the Next Gen Program, and other tournaments involving titles like Call of Duty: Mobile slated to be launched later this year.
