THE Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers of the Philippines, Inc. (AFAD) invites enthusiasts, sports shooters, and industry stakeholders to the much-anticipated Defense & Sporting Arms Show from July 23 to 27 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
Now a long-standing tradition, the show returns with fresh momentum, fueled by growing national support for the shooting sports and a stronger push for responsible gun ownership.
The event serves as a major platform to showcase the latest firearms, ammunition, tactical gear, and industry innovations from the country’s leading dealers and manufacturers.
AFAD spokesperson Alaric Topacio emphasized the show’s growing role in supporting the local shooting community and industry, saying: “This year’s show reflects the energy and progress in the firearms industry, and it’s especially timelyas we prepare to host major international competitions. It’s an opportunity to bring our community together and continue promoting responsible firearms ownership.”
The event comes just as Filipino shooters prepare to represent the country at the 2nd IPSA Action Air World Championships from July 26 to August 3 in Iloilo City, with over 200 shooters from more than 40 countries expected to attend.
The local team also recently competed in the 2025 IPSC PCC/Mini Rifle World Shoot in Znojmo, Czech Republic, highlighting the Philippines’ growing presence in global shooting sports.
Government officials, lawmakers, and business leaders are expected to grace the event in support of AFAD’s continuing advocacy for responsible gun ownership, sports development, and industry growth.
