AIMING to position itself as a premier sports, recreation, leisure and commercial hub and estate in Central Luzon, Alviera took a major step in that direction by unveiling its sports programs, kicking off with the Alviera Racketlon tennis tournament over the weekend in Porac, Pampanga.
“In aspiring to be a regional growth center in Central Luzon, Alviera is committed to building a thriving and active community in Porac. In launching its sports program, we want to provide our members and those interested with to make us the go-to place for sports and recreation,” said Rica Balbido, Alviera, Alviera Estate Central Luzon Development head, during the tournament’s opening at the Alviera Country Club.
Alviera Land Development manager Luigi Crespo said that the 1,800-hectare property, a joint venture of Ayala Land and Leonio Land, has all the modern amenities and facilities for health and sports buffs and their families.
The club premises features pools for both adults and children, badminton, lawn tennis and table tennis and pickleball courts, a spa with jacuzzi, steam and sauna; while outdoor facilities include an archery range, driving range, go-kart circuit and a children’s playground at the “Sandbox.”
Xmplr head and former Milo Sports chief Robbie de Vera revealed that also undergoing construction is a football field “and we hope to hold football tournaments for children and teens in the future.”

The “Sandbox” also features ziplines of varying distances and difficulties, a man-made wall for climbing and rappelling, according to Crespo, disclosing that among the locators at its industrial center, which falls under the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, is food manufacturer Nissin Monde and Nature’s Spring.
“Our motto for Alviera is ‘Where Urban Meets Nature,” and as you can see, our roads amid this scenic ambience are ideal for recreational jogging, walking and cycling as well,” Crespo noted during a tour of Alviera for some selected media members.
He touted the cuisine served at the Alviera Country Club incorporates the best that Kapampangans, considered among the country’s best cooks, can offer.
Hopefully, Crespo added, “as word gets around, we will be able to draw around 10,000 sports and health-conscious buffs and their families to Alviera with the activities we are offering.
“Our ultimate mission and vision is to make this estate, which is a near to the Clark Freeport Zone, a major growth center in Central Luzon.”
