NU belles eye payback

COACH Karl Dimaculangan and reigning MVP and Rookie of the Year Mhicaela Belen both admitted that defending champion National University had a shaky showing in the first round.

“Siguro itong first round medyo shaky talaga. Talo kami.

The Lady Bulldogs can right the ship with a big bounce back win against unbeaten La Salle when they clash tomorrow, Saturday, as the second round of the 85th UAAP women’s volleyball tournament gets going at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

But that mission in the 5 p.m. duel will be easier said than done after the Lady Spikers blasted NU 25-10, 25-15, 25-21 two days ago that hiked their mark to 7-0.
