NATIONAL University barely broke a sweat and pummeled Far Eastern University 25-10, 25-17, 25-15 yesterday in their knockout quarterfinals duel in the Shakey’s Super League at the Rizal Sports Coliseum.

After sweeping the playoffs last Saturday with an unscathed 3-0 mark and soar as the top-seeded team of Pool E, the Lady Bulldogs showed no mercy behind the likes of Erin Pangilinan and Alyssa Solomon.

“Nag-prepare talaga kami previously before coming to this game. Tinignan namin iyong mga possibility ng kalaban namin. Naghanda lang talaga kami ng mabuti,” Lady Bulldogs coach Karl Dimaculangan said,

“Panibagong preparation ulit kasi tignan ulit namin sino iyong makakalaban namin,” he added.

NU will face the winner between the UST Golden Tigresses and UP Fighting Maroons in the semifinals on Friday.
