AS part of its “Active Pilipinas” campaign, Milo is supporting the #NotAlone Beach Fun Run organized by the Malay Federated Parent-Teacher Association this Saturday at the Boracay beach front in Aklan.
The running event aims to draw 14,000 students, families and teachers from 16 public and 16 private schools in the municipality of Malay, while raising the importance of an active physical lifestyle in maintaining proper mental health.
“Exercise has been shown to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, and can help improve your mood and overall well-being. Personally, running has been very instrumental in helping me overcome my depression,” noted Miriam Quiambao-Roberto, Malay General Federation PTA president.
“With brands like Milo, we urge everyone, not only the Aklanons to stand up and get moving for a healthy and happy lifestyle,” stressed Roberto, a former beauty queen, whose family now calls Boracay home.
