NATIONAL University tapped Norman Miguel anew as its new coach yesterday.
The Lady Bulldogs announced the return of Miguel, who will replace Karl Dimaculangan, in a social media post.
Miguel coached NU in the 81st and the 82nd UAAs seasons that were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He parted ways with NU in 2020 and was succeeded by Dimaculangan.
Dimaculangan served the Lady Bulldogs for two seasons and led NU to a perfect campaign last year.
However, in his second year at the helm, the Lady Bulldogs settled for a runner-up finish this year, losing to La Salle.
As he rejoins the Sampaloc-based crew, Miguel will handle Bella Belen, Alyssa Solomon, and Camilla Lamina in their anticipated redemption drive.
NU also appointed Miguel to be the strategist of its girls’ volleyball team.
Miguel will take the place of coach Vilet Ponce-De Leon at the helm of the National University Nazareth School Lady Bullpups.
Ponce-De Leon steered the Lady Bullpups to the girls’ volleyball title last season.
