DEPUTY House Speaker Eric Martinez expounds on the latest bill he has filed in Congress concerning Philippine sports when he graces the online session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum today.
Martinez, who represents the second district of Valenzuela City, will talk about the establishment of the Philippine Olympian Memorial that honors, commemorates, and immortalizes Filipino Olympians who have distinguished themselves in their fields.
The house bill comes in the wake of the country’s most successful campaign in the Olympiad, which saw the Philippines win a total of four medals, including the first gold courtesy of weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz.
