DESPITE missing the services of some of its veteran players ahead of the PVL All-Filipino Conference set to kick off on Feb. 4, expect an Army side to show it has what it takes.
Lady Troopers’ team manager Sha Torres yesterday told Malaya-Business Insight yesterday that they have acquired Sky Chavez and Alexa Polidario and will have Tin Francisco and Andrea Marzan as guest players.
Chavez played for the Rizal Technological University and was with the team’s three-peat run in the NAASCU in 2017.
Polidario is a local beach volleyball champion who has played for the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos.
Francisco saw action for Army in 2021 when she decided to forego her last playing year with University of Santo Tomas, while Marzan previously suited up for Akari.
