DEFENDING champion Arellano University seeks its second straight win and the early lead when it takes on San Beda University today in the 97th NCAA women’s volleyball tournament at the Paco Arena.
The match is set at 2:30 p.m. after Letran and Jose Rizal University open their campaign in the curtain-raiser at 12 o’clock.
Lady Chiefs coach Obet Javier admitted they will have their hands full this season but maintained they are unfazed even without former standouts Regine Arocha and Necole Ebuen, who have already used up their playing years.
