Philippine Judo President Dave Carter will discuss the preparations and campaign of first-time Olympian Kiyomi Watanabe in the Tokyo Games during the session that starts at 10 a.m. Watanabe, 24, clinched an Olympic berth via the continental quota in the women’s 63kg division.
Grandmaster Jayson Gonzales will talk about the Filipino players’ chances in the FIDE World Cup in Sochi, Russia set to start on July 3. Gonzales is also the NCFP (National Chess Federation of the Philippines) chief executive officer.
