IMUS-Ivy Tuason Photography seeks to sustain its fast start in the Spikers’ Turf Open Conference when it battles the Cignal HD Spikers today at the Paco Arena.

The AJAA Spikers and HD Spikers, currently sporting 2-0 and 1-0 cards, respectively, clash at 5:30 p.m.

Last Sunday, Imus booked its second consecutive win following a sweep of the Philippine Air Force Airmen 25-16, 25-16, 25-13.

“Cignal is one of the top teams. Of course, game lang naman, mag-aral sila sa amin, mag-aaral din kami sa kanila so it’s the choice of team kung sino’ng gusto manalo. (And) I respect Cignal, of course,” Imus coach Sammy Acaylar said.

The HD Spikers began their campaign with a victory, a straight sets triumph 25-19, 25-18, 25-17 over the Santa Rosa City Lions last Friday.

Imus’ Louie Ramirez, Hero Austria, Ridzuan Muhali, Ronniel Rosales, and Kim Malabunga aim to bring down the HD Spilers’ Marck Espejo, JP Bugaoan, Ysay Marasigan, Wendel Miguel and Peter Torres.

The PGJC-Navy Sealions and Santa Rosa City Lions, both squads aiming to enter the win column, collide at 3 o’clock.
