THE Galeries Tower Highrisers beefed up their line-up for the new PVL season by signing three players yesterday.
Galeries Tower acquired wing hitters Shola Alvarez and France Ronquillo and setter Renee Mabilangan.
“New season, new heights for Shola Alvarez, France Ronquillo and Renee Mabilangan. Welcome to the Galeries Highriser,” the team said on its social media account.
“We’re thrilled to have you on board bringing your talent and passion to the court.”
The trio will be teaming up with Highrisers’ mainstays Roma Joy Doromal, Ysa Jimenez, Dimdim Pacres, and Carly Hernandez.
Alvarez, before joining Galeries Tower, previously played for the defunct F2 Logistics Cargo Movers for three years.
Ronquillo played for a season with Chery Tiggo and a conference with its defunct sister team the Foton Tornadoes.
Mabilangan will be making her PVL debut after donning the National University Lady Bulldogs jersey.
