CIGNAL outlasted Petro Gazz 25-22, 34-32, 15-25, 16-25, 15-13 yesterday to boost its semifinals drive in the PVL Reinforced Conference at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
American import Tai Bierria sizzled for the HD Spikers in their second straight win with 19 points and seven excellent receptions, while Ces Molina delivered 13 kills.
Ria Meneses also scored 11 points, while skipper Daquis finished with nine markers and seven digs for Cignal.
“Grabe, nag-slow down talaga, bumaba iyong performance namin (sa) third and fourth set but good thing, sobrang thank you kay Lord siyempre sa panalo and then siyempre sa effort ng team and then ng coaches,” HD Spikers coach Shaq Delos Santos said. “Malaking factor for us na magkaroon ng malaking chance para dun sa top four. Ang sinabi ko lang sa kanila talaga ibalik lang talaga iyong normal na laro namin especially noong first two sets kasi ang gandang performance talaga namin.
