THE Association of Philippine Journalists-Samahang Plaridel Foundation, Inc., headed by veteran journalist Rolly Estabillo will hold a golf tournament for media personalities and friends in the government and private sectors.
Dubbed the “8th Samahang Plaridel Golf 2024,” the one-day, fund-raising competition is set at the Villamor Golf Club in Pasay City on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
More than 100 golfers are expected to join the fun and excitement in the tournament sponsored by House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Philippine Sports Commission, Pagcor, PCSO, Rizal Park Hotel, Construction Workers Solidarity (CWS) Partylist and JD Legaspi Construction.
Also supporting the tournament are Senate President Chiz Escudero, Sen. Win Gatchalian, Reps. Ace Barbers, Erwin Tulfo, Salvador Pleyto, and Mike Defensor, former Mayor Isko Moreno, Gov. Abdusakur Mahail Tan, Apat Dapat Partylist, ICTSI, Basic Environmental Systems and Technologies, Inc., Starpay Corporation, Metro Pacific Investment, SOGO Hotel, Go For Gold, Actionlabs, Hatasu, SylPaulJoyce, Luxuriant Automotive Group, Suzuki, Isuzu, Grab, JBL, Blade, Autohub, BCDA, Clean Fuel, Gateway, Autobot, Subaru and Honda.
A Jetour Ice Cream electric vehicle, a Segway e-scooter and P100,000 in cash from Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines (JGFP) president Oliver Gan, is at stake as a hole-in-one prize. Other exciting prizes and giveaways will also be raffled off.
The event will have a shotgun start at 7 a.m. after the ceremonial tee-off to be participated by top private and government officials. Tickets cost P4,500.00.
