AIMING to raise further public awareness on the necessity of keeping a clean and green environment, Samsung Philippines will host the first Galaxy Watch Earth Day Run starting and ending at the SM Mall of Asia Complex on Sunday in Pasay City.
“We recognize the urgent need to address present environmental challenges so this event wants to encourage sustainable ecologically-friendly choice and practices. Collectively we can contribute in mitigating the harmful effects of climate change,” a Samsung Philippines spokesperson said.
In Samsung’s novel way of spurring a healthy and active, lifestyle among Filipinos, the race kits are bundled with the company’s popular watch cum fitness tracker, Galaxy Fit3, in the five, 10 and 21-kilometer runs.
Should the participants decide, the bundle packs are priced at P3,899 for the 21K with a Galaxy Fit3, P3,479 for the 10K with a Galaxy Fit3, and P3,339 for the 5K and a Galaxy Fit3.
The registration fee is P2,000 for the 21K race and is open for participants aged 18 years old and above, with runners receiving a race singlet, race bib, a loot bag from Samsung, a hydration bottle, and a finisher’s shirt and medal.
Registration fee for the 10K is at P1,400 and is open for participants aged 16 years and above, while the fee for the 5K category is at P1,200 and is open for participants 13 years and above.
Runners in these categories will receive a race singlet, race bib, a loot bag from Samsung, a hydration bottle, and a finisher’s medal.
