CHOCO Mucho is ready to represent the country in the VTV Cup in Lao Cai, Vietnam as it tests its mettle against four countries in the international women’s volleyball competition.
The Flying Titans flew to Vietnam last Wednesday ahead of the tourney that will kick off tomorrow, Saturday.
Cherry Rondina, Maddie Madayag, Deanna Wong, Kat Tolentino, and the rest of the Flying Titans do battle with hosts Vietnam, Australia, Japan and South Korea.
Mongolia was also supposed to compete but pulled out of the competition four days before the opening day.
Choco Mucho coach Dante Alinsunurin is convinced his team’s international stint will boost its campaign in the PVL that returns in October for the third conference.
“Magiging malaking impact sa team (ito) kasi iyong exposure namin sa international,” Alinsunurin said.
