THE Choco Mucho Flying Titans and Galeries Tower Highrisers continued to beef up their rosters for the new season of the PVL, adding veteran players expected to contribute to their cause.
Choco Mucho announced the arrival of open spiker Royse Tubino, while Galeries Tower revealed its newest floor defender in libero Alyssa Eroa.
“A new titan is here. Salute this dynamic soldier-athlete turned powerful open hitter,” Choco Mucho said on its social media account. “Get ready for a season of explosive and tactical plays.”
Tubino is one of the four new recruits of the Flying Titans this off-season, joining setter Mars Alba, open spiker Mean Mendrez and libero Bia General.
Tubino, 31, played two conferences with the PLDT High Speed Hitters last year before joining the Flying Titans.
She joined mainstays Cherry Ann Rondina, Kat Tolentino, Deanna Wong, Maddie Madayag, Isa Molde.
The Highrisers linked up with Eroa, who is making her return to the league after three years.
The former San Sebastian libero last played in the league’s bubble season in 2021 with PLDT and saw action in the Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association last year.
Eroa is the fourth newest addition for the Highrisers after they got wing hitters Shola Alvarez and France Ronquillo and setter Renee Mabilangan.
