F2 LOGISTICS tries to extend its winning streak to four and boost its semifinals drive when it faces Akari today in the PVL Reinforced at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Carrying a 3-2 record, the Cargo Movers clash with the Chargers at 5:30 p.m.
F2 will go into battle on a high, having scored a thrilling 22-25, 23-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-11 victory over Creamline last Tuesday.
“Very strong iyong import ng Akari pero again seven days (break), many things are gonna happen so we need to go back doon sa study room namin and discuss and plan everything again,” Cargo Movers coach Benson Bocboc said.
“More than 100% attention ng team (is) in every game so walang relax, walang nawawala sa focus so kahit sino iyong kalaban namin we prepare a lot talaga,” he added.
American reinforcement and skipper Lindsay Stalzer, Kalei Mau, Kim Fajardo, Ivy Perez, Aby Marano and Kianna Dy are expected to show the way for F2.
Akari fell to PLDT 11-25, 21-25, 19-25 last Thursday.
The Chargers will bank on import Priscilla Rivera from Dominican Republic and locals Jaja Maraguinot, Erika Raagas, Lycha Ebon ang Janine Marciano.
Cignal also seeks to enhance its semis bid when it takes on PLDT at 2:30 p.m.
The HD Spikers stunned defending champion Petro Gazz Angels 25-22, 34-32, 15-25, 16-25, 15-13 four days ago that hiked their card to 3-2.
“Mas kailangan naming magtrabaho. Ayaw naming tignan din kung nasaan kami ngayon, kung anong status ng team. Ang pinaka-main point dito is paano tratrabahuhin iyong next game against PLDT,” Cignal strategist Shaq Delos Santos said.
“Work hard pa rin talaga. Kailangan talaga paghirapan talaga. Kailangan maibigay namin iyong best naming.”
With a 2-4 slate, the High Speed Hitters kept their slim playoffs chances last Thursday as it blanked Akari and moved up to 2-4 record.
American foreign guest player Tai Bierria, Ces Molina, Ria Meneses, Roselyn Doria and skipper Rachel Anne Daquis will be counted upon by Cignal.
PLDT will pin its hopes on Russian import Elena Samoilenko, Jules Samonte, Dell Palomata, Mika Reyes and team captain Rhea Dimaculangan.
