PHILIPPINE Olympic Committee President Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino and Tagaytay City Mayor Dr. Agnes Tolentino will flag off the PhilCycling National Championships for Road 2022 at the Praying Hands monument in Tagaytay City today.
The national championships for road are returning after a two-year absence due to pandemic.
Elimination races in the Men Under-23 and Juniors categories will kick off the four-day national championships that feature races in criterium, individual time trial and road (massed start).
The other categories in the event co-presented by Standard Insurance, MVP Sports Foundation and Smart are the Men and Women Elite and Youth.
The criterium races are set after the elimination heats on Tuesday, while the ITT competitions are on Wednesday and the road races are on Thursday (men) and Friday (women).
