WITH coach Jerry Yee calling the shots anew, College of St. Benilde whipped Lyceum 25-21, 25-8, 25-13 yesterday and remained unbeaten in the 97th NCAA women’s volleyball tournament at the Paco Arena.
Jade Gantapa led the Lady Blazers with 11 points, while skipper Mycah Go, and Gayle Pascual added 10 markers each.
Setter Cloanne Mondonedo also finished with 15 excellent sets and three points for CSB, which scored a fitting follow-up to its 25-10, 25-13, 25-15 victory over San Beda University last Saturday for a 2-0 card in a tie with Arellano U.
The Lady Pirates, coming off a 25-23, 25-19, 25-16 triumph over Perpetual Help last Sunday, fell to an even 1-1 slate.
