CREAMLINE trounced PLDT 25-20, 25-21, 25-17 yesterday for its third straight win and clinched a semifinals slot in the PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
Diana Mae Carlos stepped up for the Cool Smashers with 18 points, 14 excellent receptions and seven digs, while Celine Domingo added 17 markers.
Jema Galanza also had 11 points, 11 excellent receptions and seven digs as Creamline raised its mark to 6-1.
“Siyempre happy kami at nakapasok ulit kami sa semifinals. Mag-i-improve pa (kami) sana (sa) iyong next games namin especially sa semifinals kasi back to zero na iyong (laban) doon,” Cool Smashers coach Sherwin Meneses said. “Thank you at nakapasok kami doon ulit.”
Creamline also brought down Army Black Mamba 25-15, 25-20, 25-12 last Tuesday.
