The HD Spikers ripped Creamline 25-21, 26-24, 14-25, 25-22 three days ago to rise to 4-0 and bag a semis slot.

Standouts Ces Molina, team captain Rachel Anne Daquis, open hitter Glaudine Troncoso, playmaker Gel Cayuna and middle blocker Ria Meneses will lead the charge for Cignal.

The Angels are coming off a 22-25, 14-25, 21-25 loss to the Crossovers last Thursday that sent them packing in the tourney with a 0-4 mark.

Petro Gazz will rely on veterans Aiza Pontillas, Myla Pablo, middle blocker MJ Philipps and open hitter Grethcel Soltones in its bid to salvage some measure of pride.

Sporting a 1-3 slate, Chery Tiggo will bank on open spikers Shaya Adorado and EJ Laure, opposite hitter Mylene Paat, middle blockers Cza Carandang and Maika Ortiz and setter Alina Bicar.

The Lady Troopers are out to atone for a 25-17, 11-25, 20-25, 18-25 defeat to PLDT last Saturday.

Foremost among those expected to lead Army are skipper Jovelyn Gonzaga, veterans Joanne Bunag, and Nerissa Bautista, Jem Gutierrez and middle blocker Jeanette Villareal.

Four local teams will advance to the semis and will battle two guest squads from Japan and Taiwan.
