The match is set at 5:30 p.m. after winless squads Petro Gazz and Chery Tiggo clash in the curtain-raiser at 2:30.

“What we want is to stay focused, give our best effort. Producing good results does not necessarily mean we’re strong. We just hope to get better. It’s a process and we’re staying humble, simple,” Cignal coach Shaq delos Santos said.

“It will be an exciting match, but we’ll be the underdogs. They’re an established team with a powerhouse cast,” he added.

The HD Spikers overcame the Crossovers 25-23, 25-16, 25-18 last Saturday that hiked their mark to 3-0.

Cignal is expected to draw strength from team captain Rachel Daquis, hitters Ces Molina and Glaudine Troncoso, middle blockers Ria Meneses and Roselyn Doria and setter Gel Cayuna.

Creamline notched its second straight triumph in as many games at the expense of PLDT 25-22, 25-16, 25-21 five days ago.
