CHOOKS-TO-GO Pilipinas 3×3 is more than just baskets and balls.
Before the Manila Chooks! squad represents the country in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Manila Masters this weekend at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati, the firm spearheaded a worthy endeavor at the Sisters of Mary Boystown and Girlstown in Silang, Cavite.
Chooks-to-Go President Ronald Mascariñas, the amiable godfather of Philippine 3×3, pledged a total of P2.8 million as yearly financial support to Sisters of Mary, ensuring that students receive the education and opportunities they deserve.
But he didn’t stop there.
Mascariñas also arranged a monthly Chooks-to-Go oven-roasted feast, a mouthwatering treat that filled their hearts with delight and provided 50 basketballs, igniting their passion for sports, and encouraging their dreams to soar higher.
“In all our undertakings, we are driven by a profound purpose– that of bridging the gaps that divide our society. Our commitment extends far beyond mere assistance and entertainment, for we believe that our collective actions have the power to shape a brighter future for our fellow Filipinos,” Mascariñas said. “We strive to ignite hope and inspire our kababayans to realize their potential as agents of positive change.
“We view our position as a privilege, and it is through our endeavors that we humbly contribute to the advancement and unity of our beloved nation.”
Manila Chooks! cagers Mac Tallo, Paul Desiderio, Brandon Ramirez, Dennis Santos, Cj Payawal, and head trainer Chico Lanete also graced the event, while singer Chloe filled the air with beautiful melodies, keeping the energy alive and creating a soundtrack for the memorable day.
