LONDON. — British boxer Ricky Hatton has died at the age of 46, the BBC reported on Sunday.
Greater Manchester Police said in a statement that a body had been found on Sunday morning at an address in Hyde in the northern English city.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious,” the police spokesperson said.
Hatton, who won titles in the light-welterweight and welterweight divisions before retiring in 2012, fought Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines in May 2009 in Las Vegas and was knocked out in the second round.
