BLACKWATER gunner Wendell Comboy emerged as the scoring champion of the PBA 3×3 Season 3 Third Conference.

Comboy, a big part of the Smooth Razor’s breakout conference punctuated by a podium finish in Leg 4, runner-up placing in Leg 6 and semifinal stint in the grand finals, outgunned the league’s best as he amassed 266 points in 29 games.

The sweet-shooting Comboy, who accounted for a conference-high 9.2-point average and 92 two-point connections, gained P30,000 for taking the honors and joining the ranks of elite scorers led by TNT’s Almond Vosotros.

Comboy foiled the back-to-back bid of MCFASolver’s Brandon Ramirez, the Second Conference top gunner who finished second this time with 239 markers spiked by 134 one-point conversions.

Joseph Sedurifa and Jeff Manday of newly minted champion Meralco wound up third and fourth in the scoring derby with identical 233 points.

Cavitex Braves’ Jorey Napoles, the scoring champ of the First Conference, placed No. 5 with 200 ahead of MCFASolver’s Louie Vigil (186) and Ginebra’s JJ Espanola (159).

Vosotros, who played only 19 games and sat out a couple of Legs, took eighth in the final tally with 136 as San Miguel Beer’s Ken Bono (131) and Terrafirma’s Shaq Alanes (130) rounded out the Top 10 bucket getters.

Comboy’s teammate RJ Deles emerged as the conference’s top rebounder with 178 total boards and 6.8-carom average.

MCFASolver’s TH Tumalip issued the most assists (64) and had the most shot blocks (16), while Pioneer Elastoseal’s Ken Mocon showed the way in steals (31).
