BIANCA Pagdanganan will hope her encouraging form in her last tournament will carry over when she sees action today (Thursday in the US) in the Ascendant LPGA Benefiting Volunteers of America tournament at the Old America Golf Club at The Colony, Texas.
Riding on a sizzling final-round 63, Pagdanganan broke out of a prolonged slump to finish in a four-way tie for 19th at the AmazingCre Portland Classic at the Columbia Country Club in Oregon the previous week for her best outing so far in the 2022 US LPGA season.
It was the first time in her last four tournaments that she was still in action on the final day after missing the cut thrice in a row.
The Tokyo Olympic Games veteran will be keen on sustaining her form over the next four days at the par-71, 6,475-yard layout.
The tournament offers a total pot of $1.75 million (roughly P103 million), with the champion going home with the top prize of $225,000 (P13.25 million).
