Bianca out to end skid

OLYMPIC hopeful Bianca Pagdanganan hopes to break out of a two-month-long slump when she tees off today (Thursday in the US) in the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro at the Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles.

Since finishing in a tie for 29th place in the Honda LPGA Thailand in Chonburi last February, Pagdanganan has been so-so in her last five tournaments, even missing the cut in the Chevron Golf Championship, the LPGA’s first major, in Woodland, Texas last week.

Despite her poor performance, the power-hitting Pinay golfer is still ranked No. 38 in the latest International Golf Federation Olympic women’s rankings, but a better finish in LA would certainly help her tighten her grip on a return trip in the Summer Games in Paris in July.
