SCOTTIE Thompson continued to tease his future ST3 line with him rocking his signature World Balance sneakers this past window of the 2025 Fiba Asia Cup qualifiers.
The Gilas Pilipinas guard continued to be at his best for the national team, helping the Philippines clinch a spot to the continental cup next year.
Thompson first recorded 12 points and shot 2-of-5 from deep, to go with six assists and four rebounds as he keyed Gilas’ pivotal third quarter run that enabled the hosts to pull off the 93-89 win against New Zealand.
He then followed it up with a solid eight-point, three-rebound, and three-assist line as he joined forces with young guns Kai Sotto and Carl Tamayo in guiding the Philippines in their 93-54 against Hong Kong.
In both of those games, Thompson paraded a Player Exclusive Black-Gold variation of the shoe – one that is specifically made for his time with Gilas.
Remember, he already gave the fans a glimpse to this next line when he rocked a Player Exclusive All Black pair during the last PBA Governors’ Cup Finals for Ginebra, a first look at the potential first release from the local Filipino shoe brand.
Certainly, it adds to the intrigue for the ST3 sneakers – one that’s shaping up to be a promising follow up to the successful release of the first two editions of the ST line from World Balance.
