ANDY Gemao and Letran blasted Emilio Aguinaldo College 116-82 yesterday to remain unbeaten in the 98th NCAA juniors basketball tournament at the EAC Gym.
Gemao posted 26 points, 17 in the first half, along with eight rebounds and a steal in just 15 minutes of play for the Squires’ third straight win.
Also stepping up for Letran were George Diamante with 16 points and nine boards, Daniel Padilla with 13 points, five assists and two steals, while Basti Reyes scored 12.
Lance Dungo led the Brigadiers with 15 markers, eight rebounds, and a steal while Keith Esusan and Jafet Villanueva added 13 and 10 points, respectively.
The Brigadiers remained winless after three matches.
In the other game, San Beda trounced San Sebastian 93-81.
Nicko Lorenzo shone for the Red Cubs with 21 points, to go with five boards and an assist while Andrei Dungo pumped in a double-double of 19 markers and 16 rebounds.
San Beda also leaned on John Lopez who contributed 16 markers, while Christopher Hubilla finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
The Red Cubs improved to 2-1 while the Staglets fell to 1-2.
