IN a stacked eight-team field, San Beda University taekwondo jin Christian Niel Arches proved his worth last Saturday.
Arches scored 6.700 to bag the gold in the men’s senior lightweight division of the NCAA Season 96th season taekwondo speed kicking tournament.
Arellano University bet Michael Noel Boncales tallied 6.600 points to take home the silver, while College of St. Benilde’s Piolo Mari Jazmines had 6.392 to cop the bronze.
