PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial will pay a courtesy call on Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Benhur Abalos today to seek clarification and guidance on rules and regulations put in place by the IATF on contact sports such as basketball.
Marcial is hoping the pro league and the MMDA could forge stronger coordination while the country is battling the pandemic.
Abalos has vowed to help the PBA and the basketball industry, adding they will work on things that will be acceptable to the IATF and ensure that minimum health protocols being implemented by the government are strictly observed.
