LEBRON James scored 30 points on 13-of-19 shooting to lead the host Los Angeles Lakers to a 117-102 win over the rival Boston Celtics on Tuesday night (Wednesday in Manila).
Russell Westbrook contributed 24 points and 11 assists, Anthony Davis totaled 17 points and 16 rebounds and Talen Horton-Tucker added 12 points for the Lakers.
Los Angeles won for the fifth time in eight games, coming off a 119-115 loss to the Clippers in its last game.
“We had a lot of good moments tonight, and we want to continue to build off them,” James told the “NBA on TNT” broadcast. “Tonight, was one of the best 48-minute games that we’ve had so far.”
Jayson Tatum scored a game-high 34 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Boston. Robert Williams III added 13 points and Josh Richardson chipped in 11 off the Celtics’ bench.
Dennis Schroder scored 10 on 1-of-6 shooting in his return to Los Angeles after leaving the Lakers in free agency last offseason.

Kevin Durant scored 11 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter as the visiting Brooklyn Nets erased a 17-point deficit and earned a victory over the slumping Dallas Mavericks.
James Harden added 23 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds. He shot 7 of 13 and hit two free throws that gave Brooklyn its first lead, 91-90, with 6:41 remaining.
LaMarcus Aldridge added 15 points, James Johnson contributed 12 and Patty Mills chipped in 10 as Brooklyn shot 50.6 percent and won for the 15th time in 19 games.
Luka Doncic led all scorers with 28 points and added nine assists after sitting out Saturday with a sprained left ankle, but Dallas dropped its fifth straight home game and lost for the eighth time in 10 games. Kristaps Porzingis added 17 points and 12 rebounds as Dallas shot 40 percent and missed 37 of 46 3-point tries. — Field Level Media
