Cebu Chooks! tackles Serbia’s world No. 2 Liman Huishan NE later in the night at 6:50 p.m.

The tourney will also be the baptism of fire of new head trainer Chico Lanet, who replaced Aldin Ayo last month.

The level nine FIBA 3×3 tilt serves as a qualifier for the 2022 Paris Masters.

The top two teams will advance to the knockout stages of the tournament that offers a $40,000 prize pool.

The squad will also see action in the Chooks-to-Go FIBA 3×3 Invitational Quest in Laguna on Sept. 16, and the Chooks-to-Go FIBA 3×3 Cebu World Tour Masters on Oct. 1 to 2.

Tolentino, 29, is a 6-foot-5 forward coming off a three-year stint in the PBA.

Aside from Tolentino, Chooks also signed former University of Santo Tomas big man Dave Ando to a three-year deal to be a full-time 3×3 cager.
