MAKE it two in a row for Cavitex.

Jorey Napoles sank the game-winning two-pointer that lifted the Braves to a thrilling 21-20 decision over TNT last night for the crown in the PBA 3×3 Second Conference Season 2 Leg 6 at the Robinsons Place Antipolo Extension.

The Tropang Giga surged to a 20-17 lead but Napoles answered with a two that pulled Cavite to within 19-20.

Napoles then swatted what could have been a game-sealing two-point attempt by Almond Vosotros before bombing in his dagger of a jumper as the Braves scored an encore to their Leg 5 title triumph last week.

Napoles led Cavitex with nine points and eight rebounds, while Dominic Fajardo chipped in four markers.

Chester Saldua and Bong Galanza also combined for eight points as the Braves took home the top cash prize of P100,000.

“Sinunod lang namin iyong game plan nila coach at naglaro lang kami hanggang dulo,” Fajardo said.

“Hindi pa kami nananalo sa kanila. Ngayon, naka-upset, bawing-bawi at back-to-back pa,” he added.

Cavitex fell 6-12 but the Braves preserved to steal the thunder from fancied TNT and avenged their loss in the Leg 3 final to the Tropang Giga three weeks ago.
