REIGNING two-time champion Nazareth School of National University refused to give up on its title dreams against No. 2 and twice-to-beat Far Eastern University-Diliman. Prolific guard Reinhard Jumamoy made sure of it yesterday.
The Bullpups tripped the Baby Tamaraws 93-82 in their Final Four duel in the 85th UAAP juniors’ basketball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
Jumamoy notched 30 points, to go with 13 rebounds and eight assists while Elijah Yusi chipped in 23 markers and eight boards.
Pervi Timbang and Jedrick Solomon also had 15 and 11 points, respectively, as the Bullpups of rookie coach Kevin De Castro forged a deciding tiff for a finals berth this Friday at the same venue.
