DEFENDING two-time champion Nazareth School of National University has notched two straight wins, including an 86-78 victory over Ateneo High School three days ago, to right the ship after absorbing a stunning loss to Far Eastern University-Diliman 10 days ago.
The Bullpups’ resolve will be tested anew when they tangle with the Adamson High School Baby Falcons today in the 85th UAAP juniors’ tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
The match is set at 2 p.m. after the Baby Tamaraws clash with University of Santo Tomas at 11 a.m.
Ateneo High School tackles University of the Philippines Integrated School at 4 o’clock while La Salle Zobel faces University of the East at 9 a.m.
With an 8-1 mark like Adamson, the Kevin De Castro-mentored NSNU quintet will bank on the likes of Reinhard Jumamoy, Aga Clarito, Klein Tagotongan, and RJ Colonia to deliver.
The Baby Falcons will go into battle on a high, having scored an 81-70 triumph over the Junior Fighting Maroons last Sunday.
Vince Reyes, Mat Edding, and Peter Rosillo will lead the way for Adamson.
