THE health perils and uncertainties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic has halted the momentum gained by Kai Sotto and Adelaide.

Due to health and safety protocols, Australia’s National Basketball League has cancelled the 36ers’ next two games.

Adelaide was set to battle Brisbane today at home at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Sydney on the road on Sunday at the Qudos Bank Arena.

“The health and safety of the players, coaches, clubs, staff and fans is the league’s number one priority when considering these matters,” the league said in a statement yesterday.

“The NBL will continue to follow the advice of governments and health authorities and further testing will be carried out on any individuals impacted or those deemed close contacts”

Both matches will be rescheduled to a later date.

The 36ers’ next game will be Friday next week against Brisbane again, this time at the Bullets’ home court at the Nissan Arena.
