THE prospects of another Philippine sweep of the basketball and triathlon events in the Southeast Asian Games will be discussed today in the virtual Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum.
Gilas Pilipinas team manager and Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas deputy executive director Butch Antonio, along with defending men’s individual gold medalist John Chicano and coach Melvin Fausto of triathlon, will talk about their respective campaigns in the May 12 to 23 SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
In the 2019 edition of the biennial meet the country hosted, the Philippines completed a sweep of all events at stake in basketball and triathlon.
