SAMAHANG Basketbol ng Pilipinas executive director Sonny Barrios takes the limelight in the first virtual session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum for the second half of 2022 today, Tuesday.
The SBP is currently preparing the Gilas men’s basketball team for the World Cup qualifiers and the FIBA Asia Cup, as well as the U-16 national team bound for Qatar for the FIBA U-16 Asian Championship.
The federation also has its hands full preparing for the country’s co-hosting of the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

The weekly Forum, which starts at 10 a.m., is presented by San Miguel Corp., Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, Milo, Amelie Hotel Manila, Unilever, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.
