NEWLY-designated Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas spokesman Sonny Barrios will be the special guest in a one-on-one session of the online Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum today, Tuesday.
Barrios, also the SBP executive director, is expected to give updates on the coming campaign of the Gilas Pilipinas team in the third window of the World Cup qualifiers as well as preparations being done by the country one year before it co-hosts the 2023 FIBA world basketball championship together with Japan and Indonesia.
The public sports program starts at 10 a.m. and is backed by San Miguel Corp., Milo, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, Amelie Hotel Manila, Unilever, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.
