FIL-Americans William Morrison III and Natalie Uy are poised to be reunited with their locally-based national teammates when they compete in the Singapore Open athletic championships this weekend in Singapore.
“I understand William and Natalie will join our national athletes in Manila for the Singapore Open. This is the first international tournament of our athletes in more than two years since the 2019 Southeast Asian Games,” said athletics chief Philip Ella Juico, who thanked the Philippine Sports Commission for bankrolling the trip.
Aside from Morrison and Uy, who ruled the men’s shot put and women’s pole vault, respectively, in the 2019 SEA Games, 21 other national athletes will see action in the meet this Saturday and Sunday at the Singapore National Stadium.
