Setter Ivy Perez tossed 27 excellent sets and scored nine points, while libero Angela Nunag had 28 digs and 11 excellent receptions for the Lady Troopers, who came off a 25-22, 25-18, 21-25, 25-23 victory over Petro Gazz six days ago.
Choco Mucho, coming off a 26-24, 25-19, 16-25, 21-25, 11-15 loss to Cignal last Thursday, fell to 1-2.
The Flying Titans played without ace spikers Kat Tolentino, Des Cheng, Cherry Nunag and Thang Ponce.
“Iyong sa team namin, sobrang maganda iyong nilaro namin ngayon. Talagang pinag-aralan namin iyong Choco Mucho. Talagang kailangan naming manalo sa kanila,” Army assistant coach Rico De Guzman said.
