OFFICIALS of the Philippine Football Federation talk about the impact of the Philippine women’s football team’s historic run in the AFF Women’s Championship today in the online Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum.
PFF president Mariano “Nonong” Araneta and secretary general Atty. Ed Gastanes will grace the 10:30 a.m. session, along with players Hali Long, Inna Palacios, and Cam Rodriguez as they look back and discuss the landmark feat by the Filipinas last Sunday night when the country hoisted the AFF trophy for the first time ever.
The Filipinas blanked regional rival Thailand, 3-0, in the final played before a roaring crowd of over 8,000 at the Rizal Football Stadium.
