THE Philippine National Anti-Doping Agency (Phi-NADO) will explain in details its decision to dispute the allegations of non-conformities with the World Anti-Doping Agency’s international standard for code compliance as key officials of the group grace the weekly Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum on Tuesday (Feb. 20).
Phi-NADO chairman Dr. Alejandro Pineda Jr and Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Richard Bachmann share the spotlight with Nathan Vasquez and Alethea Laquindanum in the 10:30 a.m. session at the conference hall of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
The Phi-NADO’s decision to dispute the WADA allegations prompted the international doping agency to elevate the case before the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
The public sports program is presented by San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, MILO, PLDT/Smart, and the country’s 24/7 sports app ArenaPlus.
