PERPETUAL Help rallied from a one-set deficit and brought down Ateneo 22-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-22 yesterday in the V-League Men’s Collegiate Challenge at the Paco Arena.
Skipper Louie Ramirez delivered 23 points for the Altas, while Hero Austria contributed 15 kills, 14 excellent receptions and six digs.
“It’s a nice game. Ang pinaghahandaan kasi namin iyong laro naman na na-cancel so yesterday pinaghandaan namin iyong strengths nila and weakness nila so it’s a great game kasi Ateneo is not just any team. Magaling talaga sila,” Perpetual coach Sammy Acaylar said.
“Marami kaming nakuha sa kanila na experience and my team naman talaga is my heart kasi of course, we are the champions of the NCAA kaya it’s a great game,” he added.
In the first game, University of Santo Tomas downed La Salle 25-19, 22-25, 25-15, 25-23 for its second win.
